For temporary lip augmentation, collagen is as good as any dermal filler. There are many types of collagen dermal fillers. Each has its own pros and cons and different individuals respond differently. Collagen is by far the cheapest but does not last long. The other drawback of collagen is that one needs to be assessed for allergy prior to injections.
