Artefill: another great dermal filler?
Every week, cosmetic surgeons announce the development of a new dermal filler. One has to wonder why we continue to have so many dermal fillers because each filler released in the past was said to be the best ever. Anyway, such is business in cosmetics.
First the facts- there is no dermal filler today that will last forever. The majority of dermal fillers available on the market last for a few short months. Some of the newer ones last a year or maybe two, if you are lucky.
Artefill is being touted to be long acting dermal filler- meaning that if you have your lips plumped up today, they will still look luscious for a few more years- at least that is how it is supposed to work.
PS Artefill is now off the market but some physicians may have old supplies. The company went bankrupt last year

Everyday, cosmetic physicians seem to come up with new lasers. If all the previous lasers were all that damn good as advertized, then why is there a new laser being introduced into the cosmetic market? The reason -all of them are junk.
