Are the injections painful?

Needles hurt. Cosmoderm injections on the lips are the most painful. On the face, the injections are tolerable. There is a price to be paid for vanity. The latest formulations of cosmoderm already come with a local anesthetic mixed so the pain is less.

Who should not undergo cosmoderm injections?

Individuals who have an acute skin infection, those who take blood thinning medications or those who have any skin related medical disorder like lupus are not candidates for cosmoderm injections.

Is there any downtime after cosmoderm injections?

After the procedure, there is very little downtime. A few individual do develop redness and mild swelling which usually disappears in a few days. One can apply some ice to limit the swelling during the first 24 hours. To prevent pigmentation of skin, it is advisable not to go out in the sun for the first few weeks. In any case, a sunscreen is highly recommended when going out.
All individual can resume normal daily living activities within the next 12-24 hours.

When do I see results after cosmoderm injections?

The effects of cosmoderm are generally evident within a few days. Most individuals begin to show a smooth, wrinkle free youthful face in a few weeks. Some people see nothing.
