Fine lines and Skin Wrinkles: part 4

Other treatments for fine lines and wrinkles include intense pulsed light- which is the same thing as a laser with a fancy name. Intense pulse light is just as expensive as laser, hurts like hell and the results are unpredictable.

So what should the consumer do?

If you have wrinkles and fine lines then there are only a few good treatments- the ultimate selection criteria is cost. All creams and lotions are bogus. Lasers do work in a few people but they are risky and do have complications. The best treatment today, albeit temporary, is Botox. The field of cosmetics is full of devious people whose interests lie more in your pockets than your skin.

In order to get right treatment at the best price, go to a decent health care professional. Doctors are always more expensive than beauticians/technicians but the results are better and complications are usually minimal. The problem is finding a “good and honest” doctor who is willing to make you look beautiful at an affordable price.
