Cosmoderm: Yet Another dermal filler!

What is cosmoderm?

Cosmoderm is a collagen type dermal filler widely used by cosmetic surgeons. The one major difference between collagen and cosmoderm is that the latter is developed in a laboratory from human dermal cells. This synthetic variety of collagen has a much lesser chance of inducing an allergic reaction.

What is cosmoderm used for?

Cosmoderm is widely used to treat a number of skin imperfections like fine lines, wrinkles, deep creases, or acne scars. Cosmoderm is also widely used to make the lips plump and luscious.

Cosmoderm injections can be used to erase the fine lines and wrinkles on any part of the face.

What preparations are required prior to cosmoderm injections?

First and foremost, you need money
. There are no extensive reparations required prior to the injection of cosmoderm. Because the product is derived synthetically, no allergy testing is required. The injections are done in an office setting and rarely take more than 15-25 minutes. Once the face is washed and dried, cosmoderm is injected. The injections can be mildly tender and the therapist can apply a topical anesthetic 20 minutes prior to the procedure to numb the pain.
