Fraxel laser and acne scars Part 4- THE FACTS

Does Fraxel work in everyone?

Definitely not. No one can predict in whom it will work. At tops, less than 30 percent of individuals see the result they wanted. When it works, the results are mediocre. Fraxel works best for the mild skin imperfections (which never require any treatment in the first place). If it does not work, there are still no refunds.

Are the results of Fraxel permanent?

Definitely Not. There is no laser which can prevent skin from aging. The cosmetic results last anywhere from 4 weeks to a few months. Everyone requires future treatments to keep the ageless face.

What about testimonials?

There are a lot of testimonials by physicians who provide Fraxel therapy and as always everything is beautiful and great. Patient testimonials on the other hand are not all positive. All most all patients who have undergone Fraxel mention that it is a painful procedure. Secondly, many do not see the results immediately and when the Fraxel did work, the benefits were trivial. Thirdly, some individuals say they would not undergo Fraxel again because the results did not live up to expectations. Fourth, individuals with severe skin problems did not see significant improvement with Fraxel. Despite all the hype about how safe and focused Fraxel is, the majority of individual indicate their faces were swollen and bruised for a long time. And all the individuals said that Fraxel is very expensive with no refunds.

Final Word.

Cosmetic surgery is a financial enterprise. Everyday, there is a new invention and new procedure. We all want to look young and pretty and we are all captivated by false promises made by the health care workers. Sure Fraxel works in a few individuals, but for the majority Fraxel is just like any other laser. With today’s economy, you have to decide what you want- a roof over your head or a treatment with a laser (costing hundreds of dollars) with no guarantee of success and a chance to develop some complications.
