Lipodissolve 101 part 3

Who does lipodissolve injections?

Both physicians and many non health care workers are in the lucrative business of cosmetics. Lipodissolve injections are generally performed by health care professionals that include nurses and physicians. The reason why there are so many people performing lipodissolve is not because they want you to look nice, but because they want your money. A significant number of these individuals who do these procedures do not know the mouth from the A..E. So check into your provider’s credentials and ask for his/her experience with the procedure.

What are differences between lipodissolve and mesotherapy?

Well, they are both similar in one aspect-they do not work. Mesotherapy is a slower process and requires use of stronger chemicals whose identification is a mystery. Both procedures require numerous sessions but mesotherapy is many times more expensive than Lipodissolve.

How many treatments are required?
Most individuals require 4-6 treatments spaced over 4 weeks to achieve the desired results

What if the fat is located deep in the body?

The technique of Lipodissolve can be combined with ultrasound to achieve results that are more effective. A hand held ultrasound probe is applied to the fat pockets before and after the Lipodissolve injections. The vendors claim that ultrasound itself also helps mobilize fat pockets.

How many injections are done in one session?

Lipodissolve injections are not done on the entire body. A few large fat pockets are identified and are injected in one session. The procedure does not require anesthesia and does not suck out fat like in liposuction.

Why can’t many injections be done in one setting?

Well, two reasons. Several sessions means the surgeon gets to make more money and secondly, when you get injected with a cup full of fluid everywhere on your body- you will hurt, there will be large bumps all over your body and you will feel like crap for a long time.
